About Maine DJ Directory

Hello, this is Jim Casey, owner of djmaine.com since 1999. I have been a professional DJ since 1986 and started as mobile DJ in 1997.

After 12 years of service to Maine brides and grooms, I decided it was time for a change of scenery. One that had palm trees and no snow in it. In early 2010, I moved to Clearwater, Florida to start my business anew.

This left an opportunity open for Maine Disc Jockeys. I could sell the domain as it has remained at the Top of the search engine rankings since its inception in 1999, but nobody had the type of money I would want for the site.

So I decided to give all DJs in Maine the opportunity to take advantage of the site and it's potential to bring them business by starting the Maine DJ Directory.

This is my 4th Directory website for Maine professionals (along with Maine Wedding Planner , the NH Wedding Planner , and Maine Mitzvah Planner) and the one I may be most proud of. The web is how I built my business from the bottom up, and now I get the opportunity to truly share that with my colleagues since I am no longer competing with them.
